Actions and Truth

Meeting real needs, building real relationships, and sharing the love of Christ in practical ways.

What is Actions and Truth?

Actions and Truth is one of the ways Genesis Church cares for our neighbors in South Fayetteville. Each week, our team welcomes people with practical support like food, clothing, showers, hygiene items, and prayer, while building relationships rooted in dignity, kindness, and the love of Christ.

Need Assistance?

Actions and Truth is open for in-person requests on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 AM–2 PM at Genesis Church.

All requests must be made in person. Our assistance entrance is on Church Avenue, on the east side of the building. Look for the small concrete ramp and the Actions and Truth sign outside the door.

Love takes

action.

The name Actions and Truth comes from 1 John 3:18: “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” This ministry is about more than meeting immediate needs. It is about seeing people, learning names, building trust, and sharing the love of Christ through practical care.

Actions and Truth is made possible through the generosity of our church and community. Donations help us keep our pantry, clothing closet, shower supplies, and care items stocked so we can continue welcoming and serving our neighbors each week.

We are always grateful for donations of shelf-stable food, hygiene items, paper products, cleaning supplies, socks, underwear, and seasonal clothing. These everyday items make a real difference for individuals and families who come through our doors.

For the most up-to-date list of what we need, you can visit our Amazon Wishlist. Many people in our community use the wishlist to see current needs and send items directly to Genesis.
