What is Micah Hope?

More than a place to live.

Recovery doesn't end when treatment does. Micah Hope Ministry provides a supportive Christian community where men can continue rebuilding their lives while growing in their relationship with Jesus.

Through supportive housing, discipleship, accountability, work, service, and active participation in the life of Genesis Church, residents have the opportunity to establish healthy rhythms and prepare for a stable, self-sustaining future.

The goal isn't simply independence. It's a life marked by faith, purpose, community, and hope.

What Life at Micah Looks Like

Serve & Belong

The men of Micah are part of the Genesis family—worshiping, serving, building friendships, and contributing to the wider Fayetteville community.

A story of recovery & a life of helping others find freedom.

Meet Chris

Before becoming Director of Micah Hope Ministry, Chris Clevidence spent 18 years struggling with opioid addiction. After multiple attempts at recovery, he entered John 3:16 Ministries and began discovering what he describes as true freedom in Jesus Christ.

Chris later spent three years serving as an instructor at John 3:16, helping other men and families experience restoration. Today, he leads Micah Hope with a deep understanding of the journey residents are walking.

For Chris, one of the strengths of Micah is the relationship between the ministry and Genesis Church: men aren't simply given a place to stay. They're welcomed into a church family, given opportunities to serve, and surrounded by a community where they can continue growing after treatment.

The fellowship and sense of belonging are evident on day one when you become part of the Micah Hope Ministry.
