Next-Gen-Is-Us Sundays
Children and students from birth to 12th grade meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 in age-appropriate groups for a time of study, community, and prayer to learn about the love of Jesus from our dedicated staff and volunteers. Children’s ministry for infants to pre-k is also offered during the 8:30 service.

Women of the Word
Please join the Women of the Word class as we begin our next study, “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund. Class meets in the Outreach Team's office from 10-10:50 and this study will start on December 7th. Purchase your own book if able, but several copies are available in the church office. This class is for deeper conversation, life applications of the Word, and fellowship with Genesis women. All ages welcome!

Wise Kids
Wise Kids is an after-school program developed to build intentional consistent relationships with students and their families while offering enrichment, play time, meals, field trips, summer camp and activities, etc. This program runs until December 1st.

Fruitful Followers Luncheon
Our next Fruitful Followers Luncheon will be Thursday, May 7 from 11:30-1:00 in the Sanctuary.
If you are 50 years or older, please join us for a meal, a time of fellowship, and an inspiring word with a Mother’s Day theme. We will also hear about opportunities to serve our community in mission.
There is no cost, but to ensure that we have enough for everyone, please register by writing “luncheon” on your Connection Card, or you can email Pastor Jody at jfarrell@genfay.com. Transportation is available upon request.
Parent & Volunteer Meeting
Join the Next.Gen.Is.Us staff for a Parent and Volunteer Meeting on Sunday, May 17 after the second service!
We’ll cast a vision and share the spiritual milestones that shape our Next.Gen formation plan, from infancy through high school graduation. We’ll also offer training for new volunteers who are interested in serving and investing in the lives of our children and families.
Lunch will be provided and there will be a space for children.
MHM Festival Block Party
You’re invited to a full day of fellowship, fun, and food!
Activities will include a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a cornhole tournament, bounce houses, face painting, concessions, a silent auction and raffle prizes, and live music & worship to wrap up the day!

Love Our Neighbors
On Saturday, April 25th, Genesis Church and Christ Church are teaming up for a day of service in Fayetteville.
Volunteers will meet at Genesis at 8:30AM to receive instruction, tools, and a grab and go breakfast! Volunteers will then go to their designated site to serve and LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS together. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy time together as we share Christ's love through service.

Plunge Party
Baptism is an essential part of our spiritual journey, marking us a disciple of Jesus Christ and initiating us into God’s mighty act of salvation. We set aside several Sundays each year to baptize those who are responding to God’s grace in our community. We call it a Plunge Party, where people can jump into God’s plan or return to God through the renewal of their faith commitment. Our 2nd Plunge Party of the year will be Sunday, April 19th after the late service in the Hanna Hall. A pastoral visit is required for participation. Landscaping Volunteers Needed!
Let's get growing! We’re looking for some helping hands to care for the grounds at Genesis this season. Whether you love being outside or just want to serve in a practical way, this is a great opportunity to jump in—no experience needed. We have an immediate need for volunteers to help plant flowers on April 11 from 9–11am, along with an ongoing opportunity to serve about two hours one morning each week, primarily helping with watering during the summer months.

Man Up Quarterly Breakfast
Men of Genesis, you are invited to our next Man-Up quarterly breakfast on Saturday, April 11th from 8:00-9:30 in Hanna Hall. Holy Week
Holy Week Services
We will prepare for Easter with mid-day Holy Week services, held Monday, March 30–Friday, April 3 at 12:05 p.m. in the Genesis Church Sanctuary, followed by lunch in Hanna Hall. Pastors from Genesis, Christ Church, and Christ Community will share messages on this year’s theme, “Words from the Cross.” Each service will also be livestreamed on the Genesis Facebook page.
Holy Week Community Meal
During Holy Week, March 30–April 3, we invite you to join us for lunch each day in Hanna Hall as your schedule allows. There is no cost for the meal, though an opportunity to give will be available to support our Actions & Truth Ministry, which serves our community through food, clothing, showers, and other assistance. Pancake Breakfast

GRILL4GOOD
Micah Hope Ministry presents Grill4Good - an opportunity for our community to walk in partnership during this season of new life.
The men of Micah Hope Ministry want to serve our community by preparing slow-smoked pork butts and racks of ribs for the Easter holiday. Through this, our community has the opportunity to stand with them in their continued journey into new life. When you pre-order, you’re not only making your Easter meal easier — you’re investing directly in discipleship, mentorship, community, housing and practical pathways forward for men rebuilding their lives after completing long-term recovery programs.

Sew Powerful
Join us for a Sewing Day on Friday, February 27th from 10am-2pm in Wesley Hall for anyone interested as we make purses for Sew Powerful, a ministry that provides menstrual supplies to girls in Zambia and South Africa- helping them stay in school and thrive. If you have no sewing experience, no problem! An important part of the purse is the encouraging personal note to the girl who receives it. Note writers needed! Lenten Peacemakers Conference
This event will be held in the Sanctuary of Genesis Church of Fayetteville on Saturday, February 21st from 8:30AM – 2:00PM with lunch provided. The Lenten season invites followers of Jesus into reflection, repentance, and renewal. In a time when polarization so often shapes our relationships, neighborhoods, and even our churches, Lent offers a sacred opportunity to return to the way of peace. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matt 5:9), calling His people to embody reconciliation in a divided world.
Join us as we host Matthew 5:9 Fellowship (www.mathew59.org) for a special Lenten gathering on Christian peacemaking. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will explore how to faithfully engage polarization, transcend toxic division, and cultivate meaningful dialogue with neighbors and fellow believers. Together we’ll discover what it means to walk the path of peace during this holy season.
Ash Wednesday Service
Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, in the Genesis Sanctuary. We will gather to worship, pray, and hear God’s call to enter the holy season of Lent as we prepare our hearts for Easter. We hope to see you there.
Galentine Paint Party
Ladies, come help support our KAA campers and paint a canvas to take home with you. Please join us for a fun evening and bring your friends! We will paint, snack, and have a ton of fun. Cost is $50. More about this fundraiser: We will be taking 43 students age 9-18 years old and 6 kaleos (adult mentors) to Kids Across America (KAA). KAA is a weeklong overnight camp that empowers urban youth and their leaders. KAA’s mission is “To build Christian leaders by encouraging, equipping, & empowering urban youth and their mentors through camping and education. The theme at KAA this year is Overcomer. Amazon Info Meeting
Christ Church and Genesis Church are gearing up for an amazing outreach to the Amazon River July 4-12, 2026. Join us as we conduct a medical clinic and share the Good News of Jesus. We will be working with our partners, Jaime and Lori Useche (Amazon Ministries International), and are praying for a team of 20 people who are open to Christ and ready to serve. Space is limited. Coat & Blanket Drive
Do you feel that nip in the air? It's time to begin collecting cold weather gear to share with our neighbors in need! Now (and throughout the winter) we would like to have coats, hats, gloves, and blankets to be given away in our clothing pantry. Items can be dropped off on Sunday mornings or at the office door Monday - Thursday 9:30-4:30.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Christmas Eve is better together. Join us for a warm, meaningful Candlelight Service as we slow down from the busy season and reflect on the hope and light of Christmas. Expect an evening of worship, scripture, and carols by candlelight as we reflect on the birth of our Savior.

Poinsettia Sunday
Poinsettias will adorn our altar in honor and memory of our loved ones. Fayetteville C.R.E.W. Volunteer Training
We will once again be opening our doors to people this winter when the temperature falls below 15 degrees windchill. At this overnight shelter, we will need people to help check in guests, prepare & serve meals. If interested please join us for a volunteer training on Thursday, December 11th at 6pm at Genesis. We’ll cover key roles in emergency response, safety protocols, how to mobilize quickly during extreme temperatures. Sign up to provide meals or volunteer for overnight or daytime shelter support. Shepherd's Run
For over 20 years, we have come together to assemble special baskets of Christmas goodies to deliver to our local EMTs, firemen, and others who are serving our community over the holiday. These baskets are prayed over on Christmas Eve and delivered after candlelight services.
Join us in blessing those who serve our community on Christmas Eve by donating items for the gift baskets and/or by delivering them yourself. Your generosity helps us share Christ’s love in a tangible way this season.

Advent Family Night
We are joining with several other area churches to kick off the season of Advent with a special worship service on Sunday, November 30th at 4pm in the Worship Center at Fellowship Fayetteville. We encourage everyone to join us for this time of unity as we gather with brothers and sisters throughout Fayetteville to celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ.

Gospel Justice Center
Genesis Church is establishing a Gospel Justice Center to provide affordable legal guidance and counsel for neighbors in need. This is a critical area of need in the lives of so many in our NWA community; one that often goes unmet due to the widespread lack of access to legal support. Starting March 7, 2026, it will be open every first Saturday of the month from 9am to 1pm to offer help and to empower our vulnerable neighbors through access to legal advice and the hope that’s found in the love of God. We are building a robust team that will serve our neighbors in several ways: legally, relationally, spiritually, and otherwise. Everyone has a part to play and we want to invite you to a vision, volunteer interest, and planning gathering on Sunday, November 16th at Hanna Hall from 4-6pm.
