Outreach
at Genesis
Friendship with Jesus.
Committed to community.
Love for the world.
We believe following Jesus moves us toward our neighbors. Through local partnerships, ongoing ministries, and practical care, we seek to come alongside people in our community with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Our approach to outreach
Not a program list.
A way of seeing people.
Genesis Outreach is how we put our love for our neighbors into action. We show up, build relationships, meet practical needs, and walk alongside people as they move toward greater stability, belonging, purpose, and hope in Christ.
Actions and Truth
Each week, our team welcomes people with practical support like food, clothing, showers, hygiene items, and prayer, while building relationships rooted in dignity, kindness, and the love of Christ.
Micah Hope Ministry
Recovery doesn't end when treatment does. Micah Hope Ministry provides a supportive Christian community where men can continue rebuilding their lives while growing in their relationship with Jesus.
Morning Manna
Each week includes a freshly prepared breakfast, a short devotional, and time to sit together and get to know one another. It’s one of the ways we practice hospitality as a church: face to face, across the table.
Gospel Justice Center
Genesis partners with Administer Justice to host a monthly Gospel Justice Center, where neighbors can receive affordable legal guidance, a clear plan for next steps, and encouragement in the middle of difficult circumstances.
Moving Forward
a Genesis outreach program for individuals who are committed to seeking change in their lives and taking active steps toward treatment, recovery, and long-term stability.
Pick Me Up Program
a partnership between Genesis Church and the City of Fayetteville that provides paid work opportunities for our unhoused neighbors while helping care for our community. Participants help remove litter across Fayetteville and receive fair pay, a hot meal, access to showers, and support.
More ways we love our community
Cold Weather Shelter
Partnering with local organizations to provide a safe place for neighbors during dangerously cold weather.
Community Partnerships
Coming alongside local organizations already doing meaningful work throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Seasonal Outreach
Responding to needs and serving our neighbors through special projects and opportunities throughout the year.
The first act of outreach is not a transaction.
It’s presence.
None of us at Genesis has it all together, and we don't believe you have to be perfect to serve. We simply bring who we are, use the gifts and abilities God has given us, and look for ways to love our neighbors well.
For some people, that means building meaningful relationships. For others, it might look like stocking a pantry, organizing supplies, or taking care of a practical need. There is room for all kinds of personalities, skills, and talents.
We know we're imperfect people following Jesus, and serving is one way we can humbly reflect His love in real, practical ways. Come as you are, bring what you can, and join us in caring for our community.
There's a place for you in this story.
Support the work.
Your generosity helps Genesis and our ministry partners continue providing practical care, meaningful relationships, and hope throughout our community.
