Temporary support for those actively pursuing treatment and stability.
What is Moving Forward?
Moving Forward is a Genesis outreach program for individuals who are committed to seeking change in their lives and taking active steps toward treatment, recovery, and long-term stability.
We provide temporary gap housing, guidance from the Genesis Outreach team, and connections to available community resources. The purpose of the program is to offer a safe environment where an individual can stabilize while preparing to receive professional treatment for drug addiction and/or mental health challenges.
Who is Moving Forward for?
Moving Forward is for individuals who are actively pursuing available treatment options and are willing to participate in a structured progress plan. Each participant will work with the Genesis Outreach team to identify barriers, gather necessary documentation, and take next steps toward appropriate care.
What should I know before applying?
Moving Forward is not long-term supportive housing. Continued participation is based on progress toward established requirements, which may include:
Obtaining necessary documentation
Securing health insurance
Receiving medical clearance
Being accepted into an applicable treatment program
Following the progress track established with the Genesis Outreach team
