Faithful Generosity
Faithful Generosity
Every gift helps us love our community well and walk with people toward Jesus.
Why we give:
Generosity rooted in grace
At Genesis Church, giving is an act of worship and a response to God’s grace in our lives. We don’t give out of pressure or obligation, but out of gratitude for all that God has given us in Jesus Christ. As the Scriptures say, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Our generosity helps fuel the mission God has entrusted to our church—making disciples, caring for those in need, reaching our community, and sending the hope of the gospel to the world. Every gift, large or small, plays a part in ministry that is transforming lives. As we give faithfully and joyfully, we grow in trust, reflect the heart of Christ, and participate in God’s work through Genesis Church.
Designated Giving
When you give to Genesis without selecting a specific ministry or fund, your gift supports the areas of greatest need across the church and helps make ministry possible in every season. These general funds allow us to respond where support is needed most and continue the day-to-day work of serving our church and community.
You may also choose to give directly to a specific ministry, outreach, or project. Designated gifts are used only for the fund or ministry selected.
Other ways to give
Tithes and offerings may be placed in the collection trays during communion each Sunday. You may also drop off cash or checks at the church office during regular office hours throughout the week.
In person Giving
Checks may be mailed to the church office. Please include a note indicating whether your gift is for tithes and offerings or designated for a specific ministry, fund, or project.
