Pick Me Up

Pick Me Up is a partnership between Genesis Church and the City of Fayetteville that provides paid work opportunities for our unhoused neighbors while helping care for our community. Three days a week, participants help remove litter across Fayetteville and receive fair pay, a hot meal, access to showers, and support from people who know them by name.

More than a cleanup program

Pick Me Up is about more than removing litter. Each workday creates space for encouragement, relationship, and practical support. Participants are welcomed into a safe and supportive environment where they are treated with dignity and connected with spiritual care, emotional support, and local resources.

Paid Work

Practical Support

Each workday includes a hot meal, access to showers, and connection to local resources.

Community Renewal

Together, participants help care for public spaces across Fayetteville.
