Actions and Truth Ministry
Actions & Truth is an outreach ministry focused on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors in South Fayetteville. We work to be a warm and welcoming environment where individuals and families can come to receive food, clothing, or hygiene products. Next-Gen-Is-Us Sundays
Children and students from birth to 12th grade meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 in age-appropriate groups for a time of study, community, and prayer to learn about the love of Jesus from our dedicated staff and volunteers. Children’s ministry for infants to pre-k is also offered during the 8:30 service.

The Debrief
Are you a young adult under 40? Join us Sundays from 9:50–10:50 am in Wesley Hall for The Debrief, a group rooted in Hebrews 10:24–25. Together we’ll build Christ-centered community through fellowship, discussion, and prayer as we reflect on each week’s sermon passage.

Man-Up Bible Study
Build community among the men of Genesis and be equipped as men of God in our homes, church, and community. Join us every Friday from 6:00am - 7:00am in Hanna Hall.

Wise Kids
Wise Kids is an after-school program developed to build intentional consistent relationships with students and their families while offering enrichment, play time, meals, field trips, summer camp and activities, etc. This program runs until December 1st.

Morning Manna
A community gathering every Sunday morning at 9:45 in Hanna Hall. This time includes a freshly prepared hot breakfast, a short devotional, and a cherished time of fellowship among diverse people of all backgrounds.

Special Events
Women’s Retreat
Women of Genesis Church, join us for the 2nd annual retreat on October 4th from 8-5. The day will include teaching from Pastor Suzanne, worship with Lily, and lots of engaging activities and good food. We will meet at the church and carpool to the Wellspring Retreat Center in West Fork. The cost is $25 which includes a t-shirt and swag bag. Please register by September 17th. 6th Annual Micah Hope Anniversary Banquet
You are invited to the 6th Annual Micah Hope Anniversary Banquet. This year we will be celebrating “Community”. Addiction is a disease of isolation, but we recover in Community! Plunge Party
Baptism is an essential part of our spiritual journey, marking us a disciple of Jesus Christ and initiating us into God’s mighty act of salvation. We set aside several Sundays each year to baptize those who are responding to God’s grace in our community. We call it a Plunge Party, where people can jump into God’s plan or return to God through the renewal of their faith commitment. Our next Plunge Party will be Sunday, October 19th after the late service in the Hanna Hall. A pastoral visit is required for participation. So, if you’re ready to take the plunge into Christ, contact Pastor Jody at jfarrell@genfay.com.
Fruitful Followers luncheon
Our next Fruitful Followers luncheon will be Thursday, September 25th from 11:30-1:00 in the Sanctuary. If you are fifty (50) years or older, join us for a meal, a time of fellowship, along with hearing some opportunities to serve our community in mission. There is no cost, but to ensure that we have enough for everyone, please register by writing “luncheon” on your Connection Card or email Jody at jfarrell@genfay.com. Transportation is available upon request.

Join us at 5:30 for a hot meal and fellowship, then from 6:30-7:30 for an engaging study of God’s word with others. We use this time to foster greater community and spiritual formation in our Next Gen and Adults. The fall semester of Encounter will begin on Wednesday, September 10th with a time of worship and celebration after our meal and then on Wednesday, September 17th the adults will begin The Good and Beautiful Community, 3rd book in the Apprentice series as the Next-Gen kids and youth will be in their age specific groups. The fall semester will run through November 12th. We will meet in the Hanna Hall starting at 5:30. Registration is required and there is a one-time registration fee of $5. Man-Up Breakfast
We have expanded Man-Up to include a quarterly men’s breakfast to build community among the men of Genesis and be equipped as men of God in our home, church, and community. Join us on Saturday, September 13th from 8:00-9:30 in the Hanna Hall where we will share a meal and hear from our Henry Ho, on what it means to live as a man of God.
