Wise Kids is an after-school program developed to build intentional consistent relationships with students and their families, while offering enrichment, play time, meals, field trips, summer camp and activities, etc., that takes place at Genesis Church in Fayetteville. In May 2025, we celebrated the completion of year 10 of Wise Kids and celebrated our first high school graduates

Wise Kids began in September 2015 with 10-12 students from Washington Elementary. There are now 40 + students from 6 different public schools in Fayetteville, including Washington Elementary, Owl Creek Elementary, Happy Hollow Elementary, John L Colbert Middle School, Ramay Junior High, and Fayetteville High School.

Transportation is provided to and from Wise Kids. While at Wise Kids, students and volunteers:
· Play outside (weather permitting)
· Have snacks
· Break into small groups – based on age and gender, where they
o Do devotionals together
o Play games
o Do art projects
o Experience various enrichment activities
· Eat dinner as a large group/Wise Kids family the last Monday of every month

· September through April
· K-6th grades meet after school (pick up at schools) until 5:00pm (vans leave Genesis to take kids home)
· 7th-12th grades meet after school until 6:00pm
